Challenge is a residual, selective herbicide for parsley, for dill, for coriander, for tomato, for chickpea and for sweet potato.Activation of the preparation after spraying is done by irrigation or by rain. Since the solubility of the preparation in water is relatively low, it remains on the top layer of the soil and prevents the emergence of sensitive sprouts. The sprouts emerging through the treated layer absorb the preparation mostly through the plumule and are eradicated.Challenge also eradicates sprouts of existing weeds by burning its foliage. When spraying over sensitive weeds, it is possible to notice a process of growth cessation, appearance of signs of chlorosis and death within a few days from the application. The residual activity of the preparation in the soil lasts for 2-3 months and is affected mostly by the dose, amount of precipitation, from the temperature and the type of soil.
